How this site earns
I may earn something from what I recommend, but it’s still hopefully a win-win. Here is how that works, and how I decide what goes on the site.
What “Ad” means
Every link that can earn money is marked Ad on the card or button, before you click. If you buy through one, Phoenix Lifestyle Design Limited, the company behind this site, may earn a commission. It never costs you more. Links without the mark earn nothing.
The programmes are Amazon Associates, affiliate networks such as Awin and Rakuten, and a few brands’ own partner programmes, each added as it approves the site. None has approved the site yet, so for now no link here earns anything. When the Sunday list starts, any item whose page carries an Ad link will be marked (Ad) there too.
Why this site exists
To keep what has genuinely helped me in one place, where others can use it, instead of in a journal or a passing conversation. Some of these tools changed my life, and sharing them openly might change someone else’s. The commission is what lets the site pay its way.
How I choose what goes here
- I use it myself and I’m happy to recommend it.
- I’d buy it again with my own money.
- No brand pays to be listed, and a commission never decides what goes here.
- Some things I use earn nothing, and they are listed all the same.
- If I stop using something, it comes off.
Brands I may also know through work
By day I’m a fractional CFO for UK health brands, so some brands here may one day be clients of Phoenix Advisory. If one does, its card says I also work with the brand, with the brand’s agreement, and any Ad link stays labelled. A commission still never decides what goes on the site.
If I ever list something from a company I own, its card says so.
Health
This is not medical advice. It is what I use and why. Consult your doctor before starting a supplement, device or new routine, especially if you have a health condition or take medication.
Money
This is not financial advice. It is what I do with my own money, not a recommendation for yours. Investments can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you put in. If you need advice, speak to a regulated financial adviser.
How this site was built
I planned, wrote and built this site with my AI team, working from my own notes, routines and race results. Where I had not given them a fact, they left it out rather than guess. Every recommendation is mine, and I sign off every page before it goes live.
