Who we are
Phoenix Lifestyle Design Limited is the controller of your personal data. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 09921341, with our registered office at 17 Reynolds Place, London SE3 8SX. You can contact us at [email protected].
When you visit the site
Your browser sends some technical information to our website host so that it can deliver the pages: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time. The host uses this to deliver the site and to protect it from misuse and attack, and keeps it for a limited period. We don’t use it to identify you, build a profile or follow you across other sites, and we don’t run analytics.
The search boxes on some pages filter the list in your browser. What you type is not sent anywhere.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: a website cannot be delivered securely without this information, and it is used for nothing else.
When you email us
If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you put in your message. We use it to read and reply to you, and to deal with what you raise, such as a question about something on the site or a business enquiry. You don’t have to email us to use the site.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: replying to people who contact us.
Please don’t send us details of your health or other sensitive information. Nothing on this site is personal advice, and we can’t give it by email. If you do send such details, we use them only to reply to you, and they are deleted with your email.
We keep emails for up to two years after our last exchange and then delete them, unless we need them for longer to deal with a legal claim or because the law requires it.
Links to other sites
The site links to brands and other websites. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy notice and cookie policy apply. When you follow a link marked Ad, the brand or its affiliate network records that you came from this site, so that we can be paid a commission if you buy. The reports we receive show sales and commission; they don’t include your name or contact details.
Who handles your data
We don’t sell your personal data or share it for anyone else’s marketing. It is handled on our behalf by the providers of our website hosting, email and IT services, who must keep it secure and use it only on our instructions. We also use an AI assistant to help us read and reply to emails. Its provider is in the United States and does not use your messages to train its models. We would also disclose your personal data if the law required us to.
Where it is held
Some of our providers are based in, or use services in, the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where your data leaves the UK with our hosting, email and IT providers, it is protected by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or by the UK’s international data transfer agreement or addendum.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no similar technologies, such as local storage or tracking pixels. Our host may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to check that a visit is genuine. That cookie is used only to protect the site, and the law does not require consent for it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or limit how we use it. You can object at any time to our use of your data on the basis of legitimate interests. We make no decisions about you by automated means.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month.
